To promote the Khardal band’s debut music album release, we thought of designing more than a traditional poster. The idea of die-cutting the printed poster in a playful way that the viewer can interact with the physicality of the work was fascinating for us. We made a few copies of the poster and manually cut a form of a spiral in the middle of each. The cuts were made in a way that with a little pull the poster could turn into the three-dimension. We also made two short videos with the work: One at the studio with a light source at the back of the poster and the other one with the stop motion technique in the street where the actual poster was supposed to be seen.See more
