This project was to promote the world urbanism day for an event for officials and urban planners. We wanted to introduce the concept of the “city as a living organism.” To do so, our idea was to make an analogy between the human body parts and different urban elements. The combination of urban sounds with nude bodyscape videography was to some extent a bold approach to make the official video of the program.
However, as our main intention was to represent a metaphoric interpretation of the term “Organism” and the importance of its understanding in urban planning, we took the risk and made the video anyway.
“Organism” is a living system consisting of complex unites working effectively together to create the state of being adjusted to the environment and ensure the survival and sustainability of the living system.
